DB It’s A Hard Knock Life (batch 4) 500ml

This special double barrel release of It’s A Hard Knock Life was originally brewed in November 2022, then laid to rest for 2 years in imported Cognac casks before being blended together and squirreled away for another 7 months in fresh dumped Buffalo Trace Mash #1 barrels. The French oak from the Cognac barrels really shines through, and then the fresh bourbon barrels bring a tasty and noticeable vanilla character. First impression on the nose is a little hot, but the flavor follows much more mellow, and distinctly less sweet than many of our other offerings. No adjuncts, ‘cause none needed.
