Double barrel stout, originally rested for 13 months in Wild Turkey 10yr. Barrels (Russell’s Reserve) and then blended together, and laid to rest again for an additional 9 months in a new fresh dumped Russell’s Reserve 10yr. Barrel. Rich layers of bourbon drenched cocoa covered almonds with a surprisingly easy sip that finishes quickly, but leaves a spirit essence that expands into your sinus after the swallow, leaving notes of vanilla and cinnamon echoing through your sinuses. Chocolate with a touch of dark chocolate bite, but rounded off with just enough sweetness to not be bitter, but instead smooths out like a really expensive mug of hot chocolate.
